This week, a two sport star from NC State…Tim Stoddard! Tim was the power forward for the 1974 NCAA title winning NC State Basketball team as a teammate of Skywalker David Thompson. Tim later won a World Series title with the Baltimore Orioles in 1983! He is the only player to win both titles. The other player to appear in both a Final Four and a World Series is Kenny Lofton...but he didn't win either title. In an interesting coincidence, both Stoddard and Lofton went to Washington High School in East Chicago, Indiana.
