He also had an anthem singing, WW2 veteran, Angels usher dad and a National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum inducted little bro. Glenn also coached for 30 years!

Kevin Seitzer #275
This week, Eastern Illinois Panthers legend Kevin Seitzer! Seitzer had one of the best rookie years of the 1980s, hitting .323 with 207 hits, 15 homers, and 8 triples in 1987. That earned a little gold cup! He overcame personal struggles, an incident with Bo Jackson, had a long playing career. He is served as Atlanta’s hitting coach, helping them win the 2021 World Series and was named Baseball America's 2023 MLB Coach Of The Year.

Jim Gott #127
This week, a guy who represents Brat Summer...Jim Gott! Gott was a party kid who grew up, found his way, and had some great seasons as a closer and setup man. He did a lot of charitable work and that continued in retirement. He's also been a pitching coach at many levels!
Jim Gott pitched for 14 seasons in the big leagues, some as a starter for Toronto and the Giants, then later as a reliever for the Pirates and Dodgers. His best seasons came in LA, from 1990-93 he had a 2.64 ERA in over 300 innings in relief. He famously battled Tim Teufel...Gott and Teufel are German for God and devil. Teufel hit a homer in his first at bat against Gott...then a single in his second. After that Gott flipped the script, and Tuefel was 0-7 in future appearances.
