This week, it's little Joey Cora! Cora is better known for his time with the White Sox and Mariners, but he started with the Padres as a rookie in 1987. He was a first round draft pick out of Vanderbilt in 1985 and recovered from a stab wound suffered in a 1986 fight while at AA Beaumont. He had an 11 year MLB career and in has had a long coaching career. He is currently 3rd Base Coach for the Mets...while his younger brother Alex manages the Red Sox.
